“Fu Lu Shou” ( or Fuk Luk Sau) is the Three Star Gods.  The Star of Fu is the God of Happiness/Fortune.  He carries a Ru-Yu (or Scepter).  The Star of Lu is the God of  Wealth and Social Status.  He carries a small boy.  The Star of Shou is the God of Longevity.  He carries a staff and an immortal peach.  The pictures of “Fu Lu Shou” are extremely popular and are frequently seen in Chinese homes.  Displaying the images of “Fu Lu Shou” in the home, especially facing the main door, is believed to transform incoming “Chi” (or energy) into auspicious energy.  They can also be placed in an elevated place  in the dining room or living room.  The best place for them is a side board in the dining room, as this ensures there will always be plenty of food on the table, something that symbolizes prosperity.
