“Paper Art-The Buddha (6),” Print, 8″x11″, $5.99 Ea

After painting, drawing many images of Buddha, I wish to express the beauty and serenity of Buddha with a different form. So, I tried it with the art of paper-cutting to create the colorful images of Buddha in paper form. Here is one of my creations. Buddhism teaches us that the greatest mind is a mind that lets go, and the greatest wisdom comes from seeing through appearances. This image depicts the Buddha’s right hand in the Dharma-wheel-turning gesture (giving teachings) and His left hand holding lotus flower, symbol of kindness, purity and wisdom.
