“Paper Art-The Buddha (8),” Print, 8″x11″, $5.99 Ea

After painting, drawing many images of Buddha, I wish to express the beauty and serenity of Buddha with a different form. So, I tried it with the art of paper-cutting to create the colorful images of Buddha in paper form. Here is one of my creations. The Buddha’s right hand shows the gesture of fearlessness and granting protection. The gesture of his left hand symbolizes granting wishes and blessings. Prince Siddhartha, a boy destined for greatness, possessed an extraordinary mind. After Siddhartha became Shakyamuni Buddha , He teaches us that nothing is ever truly alone; everything is in relation to everything else. The Buddha preaches peace and emphasizes the life of the mind.
