Ever since painting began, the work of Great Masters has been imitated by other painters. Here is my Chinese brush painting of “Seated Woman In A Chemise.” The original “Seated Woman In A Chemise,” oil on canvas, was created by the famous Spanish painter Picasso (1881-1973) in 1923. In this painting, the clear color scheme conveys both sunlight and solid form, almost like a sculpture. The sense of weight and volume is increased by the relative distortions of size in the hand and head.
