Ever since painting began, the work of Great Masters has been imitated by other painters. Here is my Chinese brush painting of “Seated Woman In A Chemise.” The original “Seated Woman In A Chemise,” oil on canvas, was created by the famous Spanish painter Picasso (1881-1973) in 1923. In this painting, the clear color scheme conveys both sunlight and solid form, almost like a sculpture. The sense of weight and volume is increased by the relative distortions of size in the hand and head. Throughout his long life, Picasso was responsible for many of the radical changes that have taken place in twentieth century.
