Here is my auspicious painting to celebrate the Year of Rooster. The Rooster is the tenth sign of the Chinese Zodiac. There are two very popular circular Chinese characters on the bottom of this painting: The one on the left sign “Hsi” means double happiness, and the one on the right side “Shou” means longevity. Between these two circular characters, there are also four Chinese characters in traditional form and in regular script (to be read from left to right): “Ji Hsiang Fu Gui” meaning good fortune, great wealth and prosperity. The peony flower symbolizes love and prosperity. This splendid, rainbow tail Rooster wishes you a prosperous Year of Rooster. To learn more, please visit Chinese Zodiac.
