“Kuan Yin and the Dragon” – This Chinese brush painting (which I did in October, 2007) represents one of Kuan Yin’s 33 manifestations.  Kuan Yin is the Buddhist Goddess of Great Compassion and Loving-Kindness.  Her name means “She Who Hears the Cries of the World.”  Kuan Yin helps us to practice true compassion and to bring no harm or ill hate.  She teaches us to treat others with the respect that is their due.  Kuan Yin says, “Practice generosity and compassion and your life will benefit many.  Believe in re-becoming and you will understand the equality of Karma and Impermanence.  Know that death is merely a new beginning, and you will not fear it.”  MAY THE DRAGON YEAR BRING YOU AN ABUNDANCE OF NEW OPPORTUNITIES.
